Food and drink at The Bull Inn
Award Winning Restaurant and Pub between Mildenhall and Newmarket
We are quite simply an independent, quirky and unique inn with something to suit everyone – from amazing pub grub, served all day, to casual yet cosy modern dining in our AA rosette restaurant, situated on the A11 between Newmarket & Mildenhall. But don’t just take our word for it, check out our wall of awards! We have won a number of both local and national independent awards – so we must be doing something right!
Our young, enthusiastic and highly creative team are amazing, they can put together some imaginative dishes using only the very best local and seasonal produce. As a team they create some really quirky twists on traditional dishes as well as some Great British Bull Inn favourites that keep our customers returning for more. Our tantalising specials board changes daily with dishes for both carnivores and vegetarians alike, it really is a showcase for our chefs' talent and creativity. We have one menu that we offer throughout the hotel with a few of the more “pub grub” options only being served in the pub area and not the dining rooms. Check out some of our sample menus (links on the left hand side of this page) to whet your appetite.
Dedicated owner Cheryl spends hours searching out small local suppliers, many from the immediate area including, Newmarket, Mildenhall and Bury St Edmunds. Cheryl’s passion for supporting the small suppliers and producers certainly pays off with the quality of the ingredients that we are supplied with. We are all very proud of what we have achieved, but we continue to strive for more and more. We never stand still because we want the very best for our customers.
We cater for individuals, couples, small groups, large groups, huge groups, tea parties, special occasions, not so special occasions, but you still fancy going out, you name it, we can look at it.
If you would like to make a reservation in the dining room please call us on 01638 711001, if you prefer the more casual atmosphere of the pub then please just come along and grab a table as we don’t take reservations in this area.
